Exploring production techniques is a rewarding endeavor, but what is even more rewarding is using these techniques in performances and compositions. I tried very much to do this on my album Xenography, and also in the performances collected here.

This was my first experiment with live broadcasting on Facebook, a bit of nocturnal piano improvisation shot with my iPad. I have it here mostly as an experiment in embedding this type of thing from Facebook. You may enjoy the “piano” (a Yamaha MO8) too.

XENOGRAPHY

Chris Stack Xenography Album

“…an album of inspired soundscapes. Feel free to stream it first if you have any doubts. Rest assured that mere seconds into the first track, you will know that you are in capable hands.” - Ted Stahl

On “Xenography” a vast array of synthesizers, piano, nylon string guitar, Moog Guitar, shakuhachi and voices pure and processed, come together to create a soundtrack for travels to oblique destinations.
