Make Noise René

From [their Craigslist ad]

“We are seeking a production technician to work at a small local company of 5-6 staff that make modular synthesizers. Production Technicians do final assembly on modules, stamp boxes, pack modules, conduct quality control on modules (scope tests, listening tests, or both), build and test complete systems, keep the shop clean, and sometimes assist with social media, beta testing, and rework. Additional duties assigned by Production Manager and owners. Supervised by Production Manager.

As a small company it is especially important that you are able to work with the team, and wear multiple hats to help us share what we make with the modular synth community and customer. Flexibility is crucial!

This is an hourly position, Monday through Friday, from 9:30-6pm. Benefits for full-time staff start after completion of a 90-day probationary period, and include paid holidays, paid time off, employer-covered health insurance, and discounts on modules. Pay depends on relevant experience.  We will train the right person.

We strongly prefer to hire an electronic musician who is passionate about electronic music and synthesizers (modular especially!).

Please email interest letter, references, and resume by March 20th. [Ed. note: See Craigslist ad]

Interviews will start immediately, and position begins as soon as we find the right person for the job.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, and uphold a safe workplace that is free from sexual harassment.”
